6 Foundation Stones Card Deck
6 Foundation Stones Card Deck
6 FOUNDATION STONES TO BUSINESS START-UP AND DEVELOPMENT
The 6 Foundation Stones Deck of Cards Resource helps you think about the different Foundation areas of your Business including:
Stone 1 – Business Overview/Strategy
Stone 2 – Protection/Legal Compliance
Stone 3 – Marketing
Stone 4 – Operations, Human Resources & Technology
Stone 5 – Finances
Stone 6 – You (the Business owner) and your Purpose
This Project was a collaboration with the Menzies Foundation, Westpac, Good Return, CRCNA and Kimberley Jiyigas.
The cards were written and developed by Entrepreneur Educator and Business Coach Maree Cutler-Naroba. The 6 Foundations Stones Model (c) has been developed specifically for the Maganda Makers Club in the context of the Kimberley region. This model is an adaptation of the 5+U Pillars of Business Model (c) that Maree developed and has used for several years in her private business coaching practice. Click here.
How to use the Cards:
Start with Foundation Stone Number 1 and work through the questions, writing down your answers, and your research. You may like to choose a card a day and think about the question then take action.
You can use the 6 Foundation Stones workbook to fill in your responses to the Deck of Card questions. Your responses can then be used to create your Business Plan.

‘Thankyou Maganda Makers Business Club for my Foundation Stones cards. These were really useful to get me thinking both about the things I have done, and things I was yet to consider. I did a lot of research before starting my business 2 years ago, and these cards really covered it all (plus more).
I was reassured to see I had done some of them, and have got some things to ponder further on now. I love that they gave a cultural perspective to reflect on which was not something I did come across in my research, those questions helped reinforce my strong passion between culture and my business.
These cards are clear, relatable to, and the organisation into the stones made so much sense.
Thanks!’
